​Welcome to Streets Ahead Dance Company, providing high-quality Street Dance and Acro Dance classes for children and young people in Enfield, North London.

Established in 2012, Streets Ahead is a friendly and inclusive dance school where children can develop their skills, build confidence, make friends and, most importantly, enjoy dancing.

Whether your child is stepping into a dance class for the very first time or already has experience, we provide a positive and encouraging environment where every child is given the opportunity to progress and shine.

Street Dance & Acro Dance Classes

We offer classes for children and young people from ages 5–18, with training designed to be both enjoyable and progressive.

Street Dance

Our Street Dance classes combine Commercial Dance with Street and Hip Hop foundations, giving students the opportunity to develop musicality, coordination, rhythm, performance skills and their own individual style.

Classes are energetic, current and fun, while still providing structured training and progression.

Acro Dance & Gymnastics

Our AcroDance classes combine dance with gymnastics and acrobatic skills, helping children safely develop strength, flexibility, balance, coordination and control.

Students work progressively through the foundations before moving on to more advanced skills, ensuring they develop the strength and technique needed to progress safely and confidently.

Professional, Experienced Teaching

Streets Ahead is led by an ISTD-qualified teacher and former professional dancer, with training from Performers College and years of professional dance and teaching experience.

All classes are taught in a safe, supportive environment by qualified, DBS-checked and insured teachers.

We understand that every child is different. Our approach is encouraging rather than intimidating, helping students develop confidence in their own abilities without the pressure of auditions or having to be the “best” in the room.
